Gaston Petit (1930) is a Canadian priest and artist. He is skilled at traditional and modern printmaking techniques and wrote the well-known book "44 Modern Japanese Prints Artists in 1973" in 1974.
The Atelier Petit (his printmaking studio) became an international workshop for limited-edition printing of lithographs, etchings, and mixed media. Petit works in wide variety of media / subjects from purely secular to profoundly religious. He resides in Tokyo, Japan half a year and lives in St. Lawrence, Canada other half of the year.
