Noriwaki (Noriaki) Miyamoto born 1940
Noriwaki Miyamoto was born in Tokyo. After he graduated from Gendai Bijutsu Kenkyusho, he traveled around Europe and Africa.
Noriwaki Miyamoto uses often the houses with steep roofs. He mentioned that the houses and the streets in his works were the collection of his memories of the towns he had visited. The artist imagined himself walking in the narrow backstreets and alleys of the scenery he created.
Shiro Takagi (1934) was born in Hirosaki, Aomori prefecture.
One of his teachers was Amano Kunihiro. Takagi joined the Sosaku Hanga Movement. He exhibited at many of the renowned international print biennale shows in Tokyo, Grenchen, Krakow, Soa Paulo, Paris and Los Angeles..
